INDUSTRIAL CLADDING REPLACEMENT – WEST YORKSHIRE
In July 2016 we worked on a cladding project in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire. Whilst on site, the owner of a nearby industrial estate in Halifax had seen the work we were doing and asked us to have a look at his own site, which was in need of industrial cladding replacement.
We arranged a site meeting and as always gave a free consultation and quote. Our quote was successful and two weeks later we started on site.
The elevation we were working on had previously been over-cladded from the eves to the ridge on both gables. Part of the existing cladding had been removed to allow the installation of a new roller shutter. We had quoted to refit the previously removed cladding and supply and install new cladding from the eves to the floor.
We had to match the existing cladding with the new, so we used N1000C 0.5mm Gauge Wall Profile Cladding, provided by Firth Steels in Brighouse.
We drilled and plugged timber battens to the brick work so that the new cladding would fit perfectly with the existing work. The cladding was then installed and the job was finished with Sargasso Blue flashings to the personnel door, roller shutter, drip and corners.
This project was completed in under one week.
